The admission
circular has been published by the Department of Information Science and
Library Management at Dhaka University. Applications are invited for the
Self-Expense Professional Masters in Information Science and Library Management
Program (January–June 2023) in the Department of Information Science and
Library Management.
Admission guidelines are given below:
01. The program is of a total duration of 24 months in 4
semesters of 6 months. The final examination will be held at the end of every
semester.
02. Admission Qualification: A minimum bachelor's degree from
any recognized university, 3rd class in any examination in the traditional
system, and a CGPA below 2.5 in the grading system will not be accepted.
Preference will be given to professionals working in libraries and information
institutions.
03. Admission form till Thursday, January 11, 2024, from the
Program Office (Room No. 1020), Department of Information Science and Library
Management, Kala Bhavan, University of Dhaka, or the Department website
(https://rb.gy/hgayuo or https://rb.gy/fwqe5y) can be found.
A duly filled-out printed form and an attested photocopy of
all examination side mark sheets and a passport-size photograph should be submitted
along with the application form. The admit card for the admission test should
be collected by submitting a duly filled-out admission form and a cash fee of
Taka 1,500 (one thousand five hundred) within the specified time.
The admission test
will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 10 a.m. in the Department of
Information Science and Library Management.
